Do you ever.....

just wanna ignore the dishes piling up all over the kitchen??

close your eyes as you walk past the MOUNTAIN of clean laundry piled up on the couch and chair?

wish you could put your kid (or kids if you want) in bed at like 5pm and watch what YOU want to watch (HELLO!! House is on tonight!!)

blog stalk and really want to leave comments but feel like it would be weird and awkward?

want to spend all day in the bookstore sans child and phone and just read a book you aren't sure you want to buy?

quit your day job and play in the road?

eat all the ice cream you can handle and spend the rest of the night in bed bemoaning the fact you actually ate all that ice cream? (yeah--like my butt needs THAT right now)

want to run away from it all for a day or seven?

wish you had a Black Amex card and could shut down department stores for a whole day JUST for you (man oh man--if only. how freaking cool would THAT be???)

wanna just beat the stupid people in the world that make stupid comments about kids with disabilities (or illnesses) with a 2x4?

get rid of all your clothes after they're worn and just buy new ones?

Honestly today--I would like to do all of the above. I may indulge in a few--like the ice cream, the dishes and the laundry. Oh wait---I do that every day....maybe tomorrow I should try something different.

Pregnancy weirdness

Of which I have a lot of...well let's be honest-I'm just weird in general. The pregnancy just enhances it. I've been craving cheese burgers and fried chicken at NIGHT. Yes at like 9 or 10pm I'm wanting some Red Robin chicken fingers or a cheese burger. Or a Jack in the Box Sourdough burger (stupid Utah denying me my food!!) Tonight was a different story though...I sat on the couch eating my "rice and eggs" (Egg fried rice to the real world) and I could NOT stop thinking about this pizza place in Boise called Chicago Connection. Seriously it's that good. Deep dish pizza that's NOT all greasy and gross (a la Pizza Hut--eww!) Real tasty cheese and a sweeter red sauce...heaven. They deliver in these trucks that are really like ovens--so the pizza is hot. They don't cut the pizza's so they stay hotter even longer (I'm totally drooling like a toothless baby cutting teeth right now) I've called the parents and placed a request for the pizza crust when they come to get Lou Lou and I in 2 1/2 weeks. yes--they sell the crust!! I will freeze it and make Phil make it for me next craving (I can do that right?? It's not like I'm sending him to the store in the middle of the freezing winter in a blizzard for pickles and ice cream. Plus he owes me--he has only cooked for me like 6 times in the 5 years we've been together.....time to step it up buttercup!!)

Seriously--does that not look DELICIOUS?????

Dora is soooooooooooooooooo last week...

And now we are on to Max and Ruby...which is more tolerable. Oh AND So You Think You Can Dance...Lou Lou is a big fan of the dancing. She tries to mimic the dancers and takes her bows when the audience claps and cheers. And daily she "needs" to play with her cousins. No really--she wakes up and the second thing she says after "Mommy--I miss you" is "Mommy--I NEED play with my cousins". Good thing her cousins are so close (hooray for living across the street) and so willing to play.

Life is progressing--work training blows goats--I'm so over driving to SLC to sit for 7 hours when I could be done in 5. Although my carpoolers and I do have a blast during the drive. 3 more days left.

Oh--have I mentioned WINCO is here!! Yes folks--WINCO!! And Tillamook ice cream....heaven! It's probably a good thing for my big ol' butt that the closes WinCo is in Midvale...otherwise I'd be puttin on a lot more weight this pregnancy. Oh how I love me some Tillamook Rocky Road (it has almonds not nasty peanuts!)

Still up to my eyeballs in fabric--I really need to buckle down and get some aprons done. I only have about 2 1/2 weeks until the Oh Sweet Sadie! show and we need the inventory. Add to that Lou Lou and I are going to Omaha in Nov to see Uncle John, Aunt Shell and cousin Jake (or to Lou Lou--"MY Jakey") for Thanksgiving. Fingers crossed the flu stays far far away or we can't go (can't take sickies to Jake) Maybe I'll pull out the Coke for some late night sewing madness.

I'm not dead yet.......... I feel happy......

or at least I'm just not dead yet....lots going on...I'm taking a quick sewing break for 3 minutes--then back to the needle. Boutique tonight at Crystals....AND big news--we finally got the final word on being in Oh Sweet Sadie! in Nov. So I am up to my eyeballs in fabric for aprons AND LouLou has to be a fairy like her cousins--a pink one mind you--so I will be making that as well.

Everything else is same ol' same ol'. Phil's working, I'm pretending to be a good housewife. I've learned that throwing up Coke within 2 minutes of drinking it feels like I have rabies...really with the foaming and stuff--ICK!! LouLou has learned about nacho's and loves them. She has also developed a love for Dora while I have developed an undying hatred for her (Dora--not Lou) I will NOT be sad when we cancel Dish Network and get rid of Dora (but I will be sad to get rid of MY shows--hooray for Hulu!!)

Yes--the rumors are true....

we are expecting Baby #2!

Oh I'm sooooo good at rhyming!! Yeppers people. I am incubating another child. And I'm guessing I won't be as lucky this time around with a sweet, charming baby. No--I will get stuck with a mini me. Who by all accounts was rotten to the core (some accounts like my brother Jeff's I don't know that I believe) I cried ALL the time and only wanted my Mom. (wait--not much changed there LOL!) This little peanut is due April 12. We may or may not be doing a repeat c-section. I have a little while to decide on that. If we do, this baby will come on the 10th or the 12th--whenever we schedule. No worries---you'll be in the loop.

Memories...

So while we were in Idaho, Lou Lou got to experience a memory *I* have from being her age (and a little older)  Backround--my mom's dad--Grandpa Waldo (warning--any mockery will bring deletion of your comment--he freaking ROCKED!!!) and Grandma June lived on a farm in Aberdeen Idaho...and they had a HUGE yard...and he mowed the lawn with a riding lawn mower.  And he always waited to mow the lawn if we were coming.  So we could ride with him.  I have the best memories of him.  And those rides.

Anyway--Idaho.  My dad helps (ie slaves for) my little brother and his business.  And my little brother has customers whose lawns get mowed...and thus has a riding lawn mower....I admit I cried a little when I watched Lou Lou and pa-pa...But only a little cause Phil mocked me.

Look at my baby driving!!!

Grandpa's there *JUST* in case

The ride is over
